EUGENIO MONFERRAN. Painter and illustrator geometric. Born in Buenos Aires in 1949. Self-taught, exposed since 1970 to date, has made 47 solo exhibitions, was selected in over 6 national salons, municipal and private. Participate in over 250 exhibitions in the country and abroad, resulted scholarship finalist, Germany (Albrecht Dürer) and twice to Italy (Francesco Romero) in the National Endowment for the Arts, in the year 1981 to 1984. In 1970 his work represent the Country at the Fourth Biennial International Art Ibiza, getting the III prize drawing. In 1971 he was invited by the Ministry of Culture of Spain to participate in two group shows at the Museum of Navarre and the School of Arts and Crafts in Barcelona. In 1979 participated in the Biennial of Drawing Joan Miro in Barcelona and in 1996 was selected in the II Prize creation “Francisco Zurbaran” in Extremadura, and then invited to exhibit in the cities of Badajoz, Merida and Caceres. In 1988 he was invited by the Ministry of Culture to perform a solo show traveling through Europe in the ship “Tucuman” exposing in Brazil and Italy and visiting France and Israel. In 1996/97/ 98/99/2000 samples participated Artists Books at Gallery Spaces, Sivori Museum and National Library. In 1999 he made an exhibition at the City Council of Pigüe-Saavedra-Province of Buenos Aires. Tribute to my grandparents Works French-50-50 years. Sponsored by the Ministry of Culture of the Nation.
