‹ Artist biography

León Blanco is a self-taught plastic artist and professional chef. In 2007 he had his first individual exhibition in the House of Culture of the Municipality of Saénz Peña. He exhibited mainly in Buenos Aires and Chaco, where his name is recognized in the circles of art. His style is characterized by a strongly marked imprint and a spontaneous stroke, with a plastic freedom rarely seen; working preferably in large formats.

He participated in the BAP Chaco 2011 (Biennial of Art and Painting) of Resistencia, Chaco; and in “A contemporary look on the War of the Triple Alliance” representing Argentina in the Public TV Argentina.

His works are in private collections of Holland, Switzerland, Spain, France, Cayman Islands, and Los Angeles.
